Your Partner in Optimum Health!
Even as a child, Carl Paige wanted to know how things worked. His natural curiosity led him initially to pursue a career in traditional medicine, and then later to searching for the root causes of disease and how to address these for optimal health. Dr. Paige looks at each patient individually, considering all aspects from lifestyle to genetics to determine the best, most personalized approach to improving overall health. He continuously educates himself on groundbreaking treatment modalities, mastering and pioneering the most cutting-edge, research-based regenerative techniques and advances to provide his patients with the best science has to offer.
After practicing more than 30 years as a board-certified pediatrician and internist, Dr. Paige took the vast knowledge he’d obtained working with patients and began investigating innovative ways to address his wife Terri’s long-term gastrointestinal and autoimmune issues. In researching possible causes, he became increasingly convinced by a growing body of scientific approaches that sought out lifestyle, genetic, and other factors to explain the underlying mechanisms and origins of sickness. One such framework, cellular medicine, suggests that many chronic western illnesses like inflammatory, autoimmune, cardiovascular, and gastrointestinal diseases can be improved by uncovering and managing these cellular inefficiencies. Dr. Paige seeks to strengthen and optimize individual cells, which in turn work to support the whole body, from its most basic unit up. In 2013, Carl and Terri opened Medical Transformation Center, where they continue to offer the newest breakthroughs in healthcare to bolster mental and physical performance, address disease states, and extend health span by finding ways to support the body in homeostasis. In 2021, they opened their state-of-the-art medical center in Kentucky. Here, they are able to bring more cellular and regenerative approaches to their patients, delivering the most forward-thinking treatments for healthy aging, optimization, longevity, and restorative care.
Carl continues to expand his knowledgebase, most recently via his studies in stem cell and other therapies, which focused on regenerative approaches to cardio, vascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, and neurological health. This has made him uniquely qualified to offer ultrasound analysis and treatments such as peptide and other injections for regenerative joint therapies and joint health maintenance. In addition, he has studied anti-aging, metabolic, and cellular medicine with The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). He began his studies at the University of Kentucky, where he earned both a BS in Biology and an MD, afterwards completing a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics with the University of Louisville.
Dr. Paige is an international speaker who presents on the application of his current approach and methods in the clinical setting to help educate his peers. A respected expert in his fields, he is an original member of the internationally recognized Seeds Scientific Research and Performance Institute and now trains other physicians on applications of cellular medicine in healthcare.
When not working with patients to achieve their optimum health or training physicians in the innovative methods he employs, Carl prizes time with his wife Terri, their eight children, and their three grandchildren. He enjoys playing the guitar, listening to jazz, swing and big band music, watching old movies, especially vintage action films, restoring tube electronics and string instruments, and fixing anything that’s broken.
Throughout all his career, Dr. Paige has been the recipient of numerous awards. Most recently, he received the Leo’s Choice Award for 3rd Best Doctor in Louisville. He has also been recognized by the American Registry as one of America’s Most Honored Professionals (2017, 2016), once ranking in the Top 5% of the United States. By Vitals, he has received America’s Most Compassionate Doctors honors, getting the additional “Five-Year Honoree Award” (2009-2013). This organization also honored him with the Kentucky’s Patient Choice Award (2007 – 2013), for which he also attained the “Five-Year Honoree” Award.
"I am 32, I was a patient of Carl Paige most of my adolescence. He was even my children's doctor when born. If there was a human I wished lived forever. It would be him for sure, he is so great and caring. I wish he was still in family medicine, but also happy that this man has calmed his practice down. He was a very busy man, in some offices that he was in. It was almost impossible to get in to see him, because he was so busy. No other doctor measures up in my eyes."
